Home physiotherapy in San Fulgencio and the Vega Baja

Physiotherapist treating a patient at home

Home physiotherapy in San Fulgencio and the Vega Baja

When moving is precisely the problem, asking you to travel makes no sense. Same physiotherapist, same assessment and same treatment plan as at the clinic — at your home.

Who it is for

Physiotherapist working on hip mobility after surgery

After an operation

Hip or knee replacement, spinal surgery, fractures. The first weeks shape the recovery, and they are exactly the weeks when leaving the house is hardest.

Geriatric physiotherapy with an older patient

Older people

Maintaining independence, balance and walking. Preventing the fall is what really changes a life past a certain age.

Treatment for acute shoulder and neck pain

Pain that stops you moving

A locking low back or an intense neck problem. If travelling makes it worse, there is no sense in asking you to.

How it works

  • Tell us the situation by phone or WhatsApp. We assess whether home treatment is the right call — sometimes it is not, and we will say so.
  • First visit. History, examination and a plan explained to patient and family.
  • Sessions at home. We adapt the exercises to the real space: your sofa, your stairs, your bathroom.
  • Guidance for the rest of the week, written down and explained to whoever provides care.
  • Review. If there is no progress, we change approach or refer you on.

Frequently asked questions

What equipment do you bring?

What the treatment needs: a portable couch when required, plus the manual therapy and exercise material. If your case needs equipment that only exists at the clinic, we will tell you from the start rather than waste your sessions.

Do I need a prescription or a medical report?

Not essential, but if you are coming from surgery or a scan, bringing the report helps a great deal from the very first session.

Can a relative be present?

On the contrary: it is recommended. At home the carer is part of the treatment, and learning the correct transfers prevents injury to both of you.

How long is a home session?

The same as at the clinic. What changes is the travel, not the time spent working with the patient.

I live in Guardamar, Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa. Do you come out there?

Yes, all three are within our usual area, along with Santa Pola and Elche.
