What we treat

Manual treatment of the lower back

Back pain and sciatica

The most common reason people come to us. Manual therapy for the joint and the muscle, plus the exercises that stop it coming back.

Treatment of the shoulder and cervical spine

Neck and shoulder

Tension headaches, a stiff neck, a shoulder that will not lift. Often the cause is not where the pain is, which is why we examine before we treat.

Treatment of a sports injury to the foot

Sports injuries

Tendon problems, muscle tears, sprains, plantar fasciitis, groin pain. Treatment and, just as important, preventing the next one.

Physiotherapy session with an older patient

Mobility and age

Keeping you moving and independent. Manual therapy and rehabilitation adapted to what you actually need to be able to do.

How the first session works

  • We listen. What hurts, since when, what makes it worse, and what you need to get back to doing.
  • Physical examination. Movement, strength and the structures involved. This is what tells us whether the problem is where the pain is.
  • We explain what we found in plain language, and what we expect the treatment to achieve. If physiotherapy is not the right answer, we say so and point you elsewhere.
  • Treatment starts the same day, in that first appointment.
  • Exercises to take home. What you do between sessions decides most of the result.

Our techniques

All of them sit inside one treatment plan. We use what your case needs, not everything we own.

  • Manual therapy — the core of the work: joints, muscle and soft tissue.
  • Dry needling — fast muscle release, less pain, more elasticity.
  • Neurodynamics — for sciatic pain, carpal tunnel, tingling and altered sensation.
  • TMJ treatment — jaw dysfunction, which affects more than half the population and often shows up as neck pain and headaches.
  • Pelvic floor physiotherapy — with biofeedback, before and after childbirth and beyond.
  • INDIBA radiofrequency — as part of treatment, not as a standalone gadget.
  • Home visits when travelling here is the problem. See home physiotherapy.

Osteopathy is a separate discipline and has its own page: osteopathy consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. You can book directly. If during the examination we find something that needs a doctor, we will tell you and we will not treat around it.

Do you speak English?

Yes. We treat in English, Spanish and German, so you can describe your symptoms in your own words — which matters more in physiotherapy than in most things.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and how long you have had it. We give you an estimate after the first examination and we review it as we go, rather than selling a package up front.

Does dry needling hurt?

You feel the muscle twitch and afterwards a soreness like the day after training, which passes in a day or two. Most patients find it far more bearable than they expected.

Where exactly are you?
